صدِّيق ومحمد عطار، شقيقين من واحدة من أقدم العائلات التجارية الرائدة في المملكة العربية السعودية، قاما بتأسيس شركة صدِّيق ومحمد عطار في الأربعينيات من القرن الماضي. وتفخر الشركة بكونها واحدة من أولى الشركات التجارية المسجلة في المملكة وعضو مؤسس للغرفة التجارية الصناعية بجدة والتي ساهمت في دخول المملكة في حقبة جديدة من الرخاء والإزدهار والإنفتاح على العالم الخارجي، وكان العمل الأساسي للشركة في البدايات هو تقديم الخدمات للحجاج المسافرين إلى المدن المقدسة .

عطار للسياحة، هي الشركة الشقيقة لشركة صدِّيق ومحمد عطار، تم إنشائها في أوائل الثمانينيات من القرن الماضي وفقاً للوائح إتحاد النقل الجوي الدولي IATA.

من مكتب سفر واحد لعطار للسياحة في جدة في عام 1952، توسعت عطار للسياحة إلى أكثر من 42 مكتباً في جميع أنحاء المملكة، كما عززت تواجدها الدولي من خلال 600 مكتب في 77 دولة حول العالم عن طريق الشراكة مع شركة لوفتهانزا سيتي سنتر الدولية ( LCCI ) الشركة الرائدة في إدارة خدمات السياحة والسفر عالمياً.

   Saddik and Mohammed Attar, two brothers from one of the oldest leading merchant families in Saudi Arabia, founded the Saddik & Mohammed Attar Company in 1940s. The company prides itself in being one of the first registered commercial companies in the Kingdom and a founding member of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce; thus helping to usher in a new era of prosperity and global enterprise for the nation of Saudi Arabia.
